The Start of Something Extraordinary
We are excited to introduce you to "The Start of Something Extraordinary," a series of engaging initiatives designed to connect the community with the historic Boston Marathon®, specifically its iconic starting point in Hopkinton.
Building on past successes, our 2025 initiatives include:
stART Line Experience: An immersive, self-guided, art and education tour of the marathon legend sculptures in Hopkinton, a marathon art exhibit at the HCA, and more.
Sponsorship opportunity: $2,500 (4 available)
Winged Foot Art Exhibition and Auction: 40 talented artists will each be painting a winged foot, a symbol of the true spirit of sportsmanship and athletics. Each winged foot will be auctioned with the proceeds benefiting the 26.2 Foundation and the HCA. The exhibition reflects the marathon spirit and will be installed on the Hopkinton Town Common, drawing residents and visitors alike. The estimated number of visitors last year reached over 3,000, not including the weekend of the Marathon.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 - $3,500.
Stories and Songs: A unique event where five marathoners share their inspiring journeys, each paired with a song that resonates with their experience, performed live by a local band. We are excited to host this event at the HCA’s 200-seat performance space.

Mural Project: A vibrant, large-scale artwork created to celebrate the themes of perseverance, community, and inspiration. The mural will be on display for the entire month of April in front of the Hopkinton Public Library.
