Mike Laurence

Mike has been a member of the Foundation’s board since 2017. He’s been a pastor at Faith Community Church in Hopkinton, MA since 1990, serving as the lead pastor since 2003. The church has served an active presence in the community for almost 300 years, caring for the needs of people in the MetroWest area. Most recently, the church launched a new campus in Framingham, MA and started an initiative to train pastors in Madagascar.
Mike has lived in Hopkinton his whole career. He enjoys running, having participated in over 25 race events. His church has sponsored the Global 6K in partnership with World Vision, an event designed to bring clean water solutions to people in developing nations. Working with the 26.2 Foundation is a way of promoting the virtues of running.
Mike is a graduate of Gordon College and holds both a Master’s degree and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
